QA Officer – Cheshire – Pharmaceutical – Permanent - £32k-£36k DOE
A growing international company in the pharmaceutical company. With excellent growth already and ambitious plans for the future they are looking to bring on a QA Officer to bolster their QA team in the Cheshire Area. This role comes with some great benefits including being able to start your weekend earlier with a lunchtime finish on a Friday.
What could your day to day tasks look like?
* Review batch documents to ensure compliance and release of finished products for supply to the customer.
* Generation and management of Quality System documents, Risk Assessments and Product Quality Reviews
* Generation of documents and statements to support customer registrations and exports.
* Investigation and report writing for complaints and deviations.
* To work closely with the Operations, NPD and Quality Control departments to ensure all products comply fully with the contract agreed with the customer and comply with all regulatory requirements.
* To help the QA Manager maintain the Quality Management System to ensure that all activities are carried out in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice and that the FDA, MHRA, GMP, ISO9001:2015 and BRC accreditations are maintained
* Support in validation of processes and equipment
Knowledge and skills / Personal attributes:
* Science based educational background of graduate calibre
* Previous experience in Quality Assurance & working within a GMP Quality Management system
* Excellent IT and organisational skills
* Good communication skills
* Previous experience of regulatory and validation requirements within the pharmaceutical or similar industry is desirable
* Experience of using Q-Pulse and Microsoft Navision software desirable.
Hours of work: (these hours are fixed)
* 8.00 am – 5.00 pm Monday to Thursday, with a 30 minute lunch break
* 8.00 am – 1.00 pm Friday, with no lunch break
