One of my clients based in Cambridgeshire are currently on the search for an interim Senior Environmental Protection Officer for an initial 3-month term.

Duties include:

Assist the Council fulfil its obligations under the Environment Act 1995 (i.e submitting Air Quality Updated Screening Assessments and Progress Reports to DEFRA).
Assist with the Council's contaminated land responsibilities under the Environmental Protection Act 1990, including the development of their contaminated land strategy.
Investigate nuisance complaints made by the public including noise, smoke, odour, drainage, pests and hoarding under the Environmental Protection Act 1990Additional details
Contract Length: 3 Months
Pay Rate: £40-£45
Start Date: ASAP
Hours p/w: 18.5-24 hours
Hybrid working: 1 day onsite, the rest spent remotely.
