HR Specialist/Manager
Are you an experienced HR Specialist looking for an exciting opportunity? Join this stable, independent concrete supplier and become a key member of the HR team. As the HR Specialist, your primary focus will be supporting internal managers in effectively handling employee relations.
Working Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, out of the Stowmarket based Head Office.

Skills and Requirements:
* Proven experience as a HR Specialist in an ER-focused HR role.
* Strong understanding of employment law and best practice in employee relations.
* Experience in managing complex ER cases with confidence and professionalism.
* Demonstrated ability to work on HR projects, driving positive change in the business.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge constructively.
* Strong communication skills with a proactive and solution-focused mindset.
* CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) is desirable but not essential.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert advice and guidance on complex ER cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance issues.
* Support line managers in handling employee relations effectively and in line with company policies and employment law.
* Manage and resolve cases proactively, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes while mitigating risk.
* Lead and contribute to HR projects, such as policy development, employee engagement initiatives, and process improvements.
* Support organisational change, including restructures, redundancies, and TUPE processes.
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, coaching and upskilling managers in HR best practice.
* Keep up to date with employment legislation, ensuring compliance and best practice across the business.
