Position: Interim HR Advisor

Duration: 2 months (potential to extend)

Pay: £17.00 - £19.50 per hour (PAYE including holiday pay) (£595 - £682 per week, pre-deductions)

Location: Hybrid - Cardiff Office (3 days) / Working From Home (2 days)

Start Date: As soon as possible

Your key responsibilities as the inteirm HR Advisor…

Employee Relations: Tackle complex ER cases, from grievances to disciplinaries, with a focus on resolving issues informally (where possible).
Operational HR: Manage flexible working requests, maternity cases, and other HR operations.
Recruitment: Assist with job descriptions, recruitment plans, and shortlisting candidates.
Administrative Support: Provide admin support when needed, including contract generation and DBS checks.
Collaboration: Work closely with the HR team during a period of change, supporting and escalating issues as necessary.

What you'll need for this interim HR Advisor role…

ER Experience: Strong background in ER casework, able to handle complex situations with ease.
Adaptable Approach: Flexible and comfortable with change, able to manage your own time and priorities.
Relationship Builder: Ready to support your colleagues and step in wherever needed.
Self-motivated: Capable of working independently and efficiently.
Availability: Able to start a contract at short notice.
