About the Role:
We are working on behalf of a vibrant and forward-thinking primary school in Doncaster who are seeking a dedicated, reliable, and passionate teacher to join their team on a temporary basis. The role will involve teaching a Year 2 class for 3 days a week, with the remaining 2 days spent covering PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time across the school. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on students’ learning while contributing to a positive and collaborative school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective lessons to a Year 2 class, ensuring that learning is both fun and challenging for all students.

Plan and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of the class.

*

Provide high-quality cover for various year groups on PPA days, ensuring continuity in learning.

Collaborate with other staff to ensure effective teaching and learning across the school.

*

Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that promotes a love of learning.

The Ideal Candidate:

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

*

Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 2.

*

A passion for teaching and the ability to engage and motivate young learners.

*

Excellent classroom management skills with a positive and proactive approach.

*

Ability to work flexibly across different year groups and cover PPA effectively.

*

Strong communication skills with children, staff, and parents.
