Sphere are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Manager or Site Manager with specific expertise in overseeing facade and cladding work on a significant new build project, specifically a data centre in Newport. The role is with a large national main contractor known for its prominence in the UK's construction and property development sector.
The ideal candidate should have:
Extensive Knowledge of Cladding and Facade Systems: A deep understanding of the materials, methods, and technologies used in modern facade and cladding systems is essential.
Quality Assurance (QA) Expertise: The candidate should be well-versed in quality assurance processes, ensuring that all work meets the required standards and specifications.
Subcontractor Management: Experience in managing subcontractors, including coordinating schedules, ensuring compliance with project requirements, and resolving any issues that arise.
Team Leadership Skills: Ability to oversee and guide junior team members, providing mentorship and ensuring that the entire team is aligned with the project's goals.
