Business Improvement Director
£85,000 plus 25% Bonus, plus £7,500 Car Allowance

Hybrid based role – 3 x days in the office at Coventry, 2 x days working remotely
A Leadership role focussed on designing and developing a programme of strategic initiatives to deliver transformational short- and long-term business improvement aligned to the company strategy.
It will provide structure and organisation to the delivery of the strategic initiative programme and the role will have a particular focus on developing sales capability for new and existing customers both external and across the group.
It has full responsibility for the customer service team working closely with the Head of Customer Delivery to develop ways of working and solutions that drive excellence in customer experience.
The role will look at developing ways of working across the support functions to improve business delivery and link closely into operations. It will have responsibility for the Marketing Team and defining the strategic direction for the company in key areas such as IT, Sustainability and ESG.
Candidate Specification & Duties:
* Strategic and high-level thinking coupled with the ability to build structures to manage detail
* Managing & influencing the whole team to deliver development activities
* Establishing an influential role with functional stakeholders ensuring activities are delivering strategic objectives.
* Development of the sales growth strategy for the company
* Developing the company approach to customer service to set the standards across functions and lead through the customer service team.
* Development of high-level understanding of the significance of Sustainability and ESG to the business and customers.
* Establish a technology approach to support the new strategy.
* Leading and managing key project meetings.
* Working with the Safety team to ensure all compliances and safe ways of working are considered.
* Developing innovative new IT and Digital solutions to improve the operation & customer journey.
* Delivery of strategic initiatives through others and without line responsibility
* Influencing of stakeholders at various levels
* Consistency of service and personnel
* Developing company brand voice and consistency of messaging
* Improving the “selling and service culture”
* Providing a clear value add brand identity
* Identify barriers ensuring proposals are fit for purpose and relevant, managing areas of risk

Requirements:
A level or equivalent
Industry recognised qualifications
3 years management/leadership - operational and sales management
Structured and organised
Strong strategic outlook
Project management experience
Inherent desire to drive growth & Improvement.
Commercially skilled
Excellent communicator and influencer
