Site Engineer / Senior Site Engineer – Winchester – £50,000 - £55,000 + Package or £350 - £400 per day

We are recruiting for a Site Engineer / Senior Site Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor on a major earthworks and civil engineering scheme on the motorway near Winchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with machine control and earthworks experience to work on a high-profile infrastructure project.

The Role:

* Oversee setting out and engineering control for a large-scale motorway earthworks project.

* Work with GPS machine control systems, ensuring accurate and efficient operations.

* Manage quality assurance, ensuring all works meet specifications and industry standards.

* Collaborate with site teams, subcontractors, and project managers to ensure smooth project delivery.

* Conduct surveys, checks, and reporting on project progress.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in earthworks and civil engineering projects, particularly in a motorway or infrastructure setting.

* Experience with machine control systems and GPS technology.

* Strong setting out skills and knowledge of engineering principles.

* Ability to work efficiently under pressure and solve on-site challenges.

* Relevant engineering qualifications (HNC, HND, or Degree in Civil Engineering).

* CSCS card and a full UK driving licence.

Salary & Package:

* £50,000 - £55,000 + package (including benefits).

* Freelance option available: £350 - £400 per day.
