A component manufacturing company based in Great Dunmow are looking for an assembly operative to help assist in their cable department. You will ideally have some experience within assembly or manufacturing however other relate-able experience will be considered.

Starting salary will be £12ph which can rise with experience. Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 08:00-16:30, with an early finish on a Friday! The company also have an annual bonus based on company profits!

Assembly Operative duties include:

Soldering, cutting and stripping cable

Using hand tools such as cutters, spanners etc

Weighing and mixing resins etc.

Follow detailed inspection procedures

Lifting and moving heavy boxes of finished products

The ideal candidate must have a flexible approach and be keen to learn, as you will be working within a busy environment. You will need to be physically fit as there will be an element of heavy lifting within the role.

The company will be relocating to Braintree early 2025 to a brand new purpose built site too!
