My clients are a well-established precision engineering company specialising in high-quality, bespoke manufacturing solutions for a variety of industries. Due to continued company expansion, we are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Setter/Operator to join our dedicated team in Wolverhampton.

Role Overview:
As a CNC Lathe Setter/Operator, you will play a key role in producing precision-engineered products. Working with Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes, you will ensure components meet exacting standards and specifications for a diverse range of industries.

Key Responsibilities:

* Setting and Operating: Set and operate multiple CNC lathes with Fanuc controls to produce precision parts.

* Material Handling: Work with various materials, adapting processes as required.

* Engineering Drawings: Read and interpret technical engineering drawings to accurately manufacture components.

* Quality Control: Use measuring equipment (e.g., micrometers, verniers, gauges) to ensure components meet stringent quality requirements.

* Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of machines to ensure smooth operation.

* Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to optimize production efficiency and address challenges.

Skills and Qualifications:

* Experience: Previous experience as a CNC Lathe Setter/Operator in a precision engineering environment.

* Technical Knowledge: Proficient with Fanuc controls and familiar with setting and operating CNC lathes.

* Blueprint Reading: Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

* Measuring Equipment: Skilled in using precision measuring tools.

* Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work.

* Adaptability: Ability to work with various materials and adapt to diverse production requirements.
