A Steadman & Son is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of roofing and cladding profiles, supplying high quality cladding materials across the whole of the UK, offering total roofing and cladding solutions, in a wide range of insulated panels, single and twin skin systems and secondary steelwork including purlins, rails and eaves beams.
We are currently looking to recruit a Sales Order Processor who will be the main point of customer contact in our Warnell Sales Office. Your responsibilities will include accurate processing of a variety of bespoke manufactured items, while liaising with external & internal customers to satisfy their needs.
What does the role involve?
As Sales Order Processor, you will input confirmed sales into the SAP system, while ensuring that the highest level of customer service is offered to the customers. You will work alongside all other internal departments to ensure that all relevant details are applied to orders, and assist with production drawings and processing of quotations when required.
The successful candidate will require:
• A keen eye for detail
• The ability to work well under pressure
• The ability to prioritise and understand a customer’s requirements, while offering the highest level of customer service.
• Knowledge of the metal cladding and profiles marketplace would be advantageous, but not essential.
• Knowledge of SAP or similar operating systems would be advantageous (training will be given)
• Experience using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
