Residential Support Worker

Location: Southall, West London

Salary: £12.25 per hour (rising to £13.75 post-probation and Level 3 qualification) + Sleep-In Bonuses

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Residential Support Worker to join our client’s team at a 5-bedded EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) Children's Home in Southall. This role offers a unique chance to positively impact the lives of children and young people, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

- Participate in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities designed to promote growth, learning, and fun.

- Build strong, trusting relationships with the children, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

- Assist with daily routines, including meals, personal care, and educational activities.

- Maintain accurate records and documentation using various IT systems for report writing and care planning.

- Work flexibly across a range of shift patterns, including weekends and sleep-ins.

Requirements:

- Previous experience working with children or young people in a similar setting is essential.

- Ideally, you hold a full UK driving license (preferred but not essential).
