Our client an established multi disciplinary consultancy with a good reputation and an enviable client base is recruiting a senior geotechnical engineer based out of their offices in St Helens Manchester, due to increased workload and a growing team.
The role can be very flexible if required with 1 or 2 days in the office every few weeks.
As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer you will be working in modern offices surrounded by experienced and chartered engineers with plenty of support, and will be working on interesting and varied projects. .

About you and the role
* As a Senior Geotechnical engineer will be required to produce comprehensive geotechnical design and specification packages for all aspects of civil and structural engineering projects
* You will undertake all aspects of geotechnical design work on a range of project sizes across the various sectors·
* You will be conversant with current technical codes, standards and responsibilities under CDM and health and safety regulations.
* You will ideally have consultancy experience and have Geotechnical design experience ideally including shallow and piled foundations, retaining walls, earthworks, soil nails and rock anchors.
* You will ideally be chartered or near chartered
