Quality Inspector - Manufacturing - Braintree Area - Up to £28,000

We are working with a leading manufacturing company in Braintree to recruit a Quality Inspector to join their growing team. If you have a sharp eye for detail, a passion for Quality Assurance, and enjoy working in a high-mix environment, this could be the perfect role for you!

The Role:

As a Quality Inspector, you will provide essential quality control support to the production team.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Inspecting turned, ground, and assembled components using precision measuring tools
Conducting in-process and final inspections, maintaining accurate records
Carrying out internal audits and calibration activities
Assisting in improving machining process capabilities
Supporting corrective and preventative actions (CAPA)

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in a Quality Inspector or similar role
Knowledge of engineering drawings and dimensional measurement
Experience using inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
A Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or HNC in Engineering (desirable)
Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and quality standards
