Transport Manager Required** to join an established FMCG distributor based at their new site in Frimley. The company offer bonded warehousing and distribution to a number of restaurants and private clients across London and surrounding areas.

Our client operates a small fleet of commercial vans out of their Frimley depot. In this role the successful candidate will successfully take on responsibilities within the transport operation that include scheduling, driver management, use of WMS and dealing with customers.

Transport Manager – Salary & Benefits

* Salary - £40,000.00

* Monday to Friday

* 09:00am – 18:00

Transport Manager – Responsibilities

* Management of the companies’ small fleet of vans

* Ensuring all drivers are all following the correct compliance.

* Oversight of vehicle loading and unloading, making sure that this is done safely and vehicles are not overloaded.

* Regular liaison with the senior management team.

* Taking on bookings for deliveries.

* Regular communication with customers ensuring deliveries arrive on time.

* Use of the companies WMS systems for manifesting / scheduling.

* Collaboration with the companies bonded warehousing team.

Transport Manager – Requirements

* Transport Manager CPC – Highly Advantageous

* Previous experience distributing delicate cargo

* Computer literate

* Excellent communication skills
