About the Role:

In this role, you’ll be central to our recruitment efforts, advising line managers, and managing the onboarding process. Your strong operational instincts and significant HR experience, particularly in food retail, QSR, or hospitality, will be vital. We seek someone with a growth-focused mentality and a dedication to high performance.

Responsibilities:

Handle various HR queries and manage staff relationships, addressing any issues or problems they may have.

Review and update job descriptions, and assist with and develop recruitment campaigns.

Advise managers on recruitment and selection strategies, and train them on candidate interview evaluation techniques.

Coordinate the appointment process for successful applicants and negotiate terms and conditions of employment.

Monitor key recruitment metrics, such as turnover and retention rates, and provide guidance on performance evaluation methods.

Use HR information systems to access, input, and compile data, and suggest new HR technology solutions to improve operations.

Provide advice and play a major role in work reviews, change processes, and support the Above Store Leaders with various capability investigations.

Experience:

Proven business partnering experience in a generalist HR Advisor role.

Self-starter with the ability to multitask and effectively manage your own workload.

Strong relationship management, influencing, and negotiation skills.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across various stakeholder groups.

Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working with high autonomy and initiative to achieve results.

Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with a collaborative nature and willingness to incorporate feedback from coaches and peers.

Solid understanding of employment law, combined with intellectual curiosity and strong judgement skills
