Job Summary:

As a Recruitment Compliance Officer working on NHS roles, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enforcing the compliance standards necessary for placing candidates within the NHS. You will be responsible for ensuring that all candidates meet the stringent regulatory and legal requirements before they are placed in healthcare settings. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a thorough understanding of NHS compliance standards, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

* Compliance Management: Ensure that all candidates meet the necessary compliance requirements for NHS roles, including right to work, DBS checks, occupational health clearance, and relevant qualifications.

* Document Verification: Review and verify all candidate documentation, ensuring that it is complete, accurate, and up-to-date.

* Regulatory Adherence: Stay updated on the latest NHS regulations, guidelines, and industry standards, and ensure that all recruitment processes align with these requirements.

* Audit Preparation: Prepare for and participate in internal and external audits, ensuring that all compliance records are accurate and readily available.

* Training and Support: Provide guidance and training to recruitment consultants on compliance best practices, ensuring that they are fully aware of the necessary standards.

* Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and organized records of all compliance activities, including candidate documentation and audit trails.

* Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any compliance-related issues that arise during the recruitment process, liaising with candidates, clients, and internal teams as necessary.

* Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the compliance process and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

* Client Liaison: Work closely with NHS clients to understand their specific compliance requirements and ensure that all placements meet these standards.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

* Experience: Proven experience in a compliance role within the recruitment sector, ideally with a focus on the NHS or healthcare.

* Knowledge: Strong understanding of NHS compliance standards, including DBS checks, right to work regulations, and occupational health requirements.

* Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify and rectify compliance issues quickly
