Job Title: Site Supervisor

About the Company:
One of the UK's longest-established specialist providers of air hygiene and water treatment solutions, our client is a national organisation supporting a diverse range of sectors, including high-security establishments, healthcare, local government, and education.
Position Overview:
Due to internal restructuring, our client has two openings for Site Supervisors to oversee service delivery in the North and South regions. Reporting directly to the Service Delivery Manager, you will manage and support a team of Technicians, ensuring high standards in compliance, health and safety, and resource allocation.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support Team Leaders and Technicians to ensure service quality and job completion.
Conduct site visits to assess job quality and ensure H&S standards.
Manage job resources, ensuring Technicians have the tools, information, and equipment needed.
Oversee and authorise timesheets and expense claims.
Serve as the main point of contact for Technicians regarding site-related issues.
Work closely with the internal operations team to ensure seamless communication.
Ensure adherence to Health and Safety protocols, including RAMS, incident reporting, and work safety standards.
Conduct van and equipment checks, ensuring compliance with company requirements.
Oversee large-scale jobs and ensure all processes align with company standards.
Team Responsibilities:
Conduct individual performance assessments and probation checks with Technicians.
Identify training needs and liaise with the Training Supervisor to address gaps.
Manage team holiday and absences, ensuring sufficient cover through the HR portal.
Provide regular updates to the Service Delivery Manager on team performance.
Conduct return-to-work interviews and contribute to the ongoing development of team members.
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role, ideally within air hygiene, water treatment, or a similar sector.
Strong organisational and process-planning skills, with a practical, supportive approach to people management.
Commercial awareness and experience in health & safety-compliant industries.
Excellent IT skills, especially in Excel, with an ability to streamline and improve processes.
Effective communicator, skilled in delivering both positive and constructive feedback.
Proactive and solutions-oriented, with the ability to anticipate challenges and implement preventative measures.

£31,605 basic salary
