Reception Teaching Assistant
Are you a passionate Early Years educator looking for a part-time opportunity in a supportive and inspiring setting? This is your chance to join a vibrant, modern primary school in the heart of Camden, just a short walk from King’s Cross, Camden Road, and Mornington Crescent stations.
We’re seeking a Reception Teaching Assistant to work Fridays only, starting after the Easter break. This role is perfect for experienced Early Years practitioners who love nurturing young minds and want to make a meaningful impact while enjoying a better work-life balance.
Why this Reception Teaching Assistant role stands out:
• Incredible Learning Environment: Be part of a newly built school with bright, well-resourced classrooms and purpose-designed facilities that promote exploration, creativity, and engagement.
• Welcoming Team Culture: Join a youthful, friendly, and inclusive team who are passionate about early years education and supporting each other to succeed.
• Make a Real Difference: You’ll be supporting a general Reception class, including children with additional needs. Your care, patience, and clear communication will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning.
• Accessible Location: Easily reachable from key transport links – just 10 minutes from King’s Cross and 15 minutes from Camden Road or Mornington Crescent.
What we’re looking for:
• Experience in Early Years or EYFS settings
• Clear, confident spoken English – you’ll be modelling language for early learners
• A proactive, compassionate, and inclusive approach to supporting all pupils
• A relevant qualification is welcomed, though not essential
If you’re ready to inspire little learners as a Reception Teaching Assistant and want to work in a school that values your contribution, we’d love to hear from you.
