The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Birmingham area. We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver (CAT C) to join the team on the day shift.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am until 5pm.

Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour PAYE.

Location: Birmingham, B66

Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate

The role:

· Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle to transport plumbing and pipe supplies.

· Deliver palletised and weighted items to customer sites across the UK.

· Majority of the time the vehicle is unloaded by forklift on site, however the driver will occasionally assist with manual unloading if required.

· Complete necessary paperwork for deliveries, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Requirements:

· Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).

· At least 2 years proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.

· Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

· No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

· Full understanding of WTD legislation.

· Excellent communication skills.
