BDS Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a Housing Manager in Shepherd's Bush. The post holder will be responsible for the management of a group of residents within Affordable (rented) Housing Portfolio, and you will be the first point of escalation in the customer journey.

Reporting to the Operations Manager and working alongside the Customer Relationship team you will deliver services relating to the customer’s journey from onboarding to the cessation of the tenancy. Managing complex customer enquiries to successful conclusion, liaising with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of customers to get the best outcome.

Hours are 37.5 per week Monday to Friday. 2 days based in the office. Travel around the very local area of Shepherd's Bush will be required. Driving licence is preferred and company vehicle is available.

The role is initially on contract for 6 months with a very strong view to become permanent later in 2025.

Rate of pay up to £29ph umbrella.

Criteria:

* Experience of the Social Housing Sector and delivery of Core Housing Services

* Comprehensive understanding of repairs management including an understanding of health and safety, fire safety and other property standards legislation.

* Adept at using key applications and able to interrogate systems and understand data and insight and turn this into action.

* Thorough understanding of housing law and its application within social housing, including experience of enforcement action

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* Demonstrable ability to make informed decisions when assisting and supporting officers in dealing with complex or challenging cases.

* The ability to manage budgets, ensuring Value for Money
