I am working alongside a leading regional groundwork and civil engineering contractor. They are looking to onboard a civils manager due to an increase in their order book. My client deliver projects ranging from basic groundwork to large scale infrastructure and transport schemes.

Civil manager responsibilities:

* Working alongside and reporting to the contracts manager.

* Overseeing all site operations.

* Ensuring projects are being delivered to budget, program and the highest health and safety standards.

* Ensure all works are completed in accordance to specification, drawings, construction standards.

* Coordinating with subcontractors, local authorities and site teams.

* Maintaining health and safety standards.

* QA/ QC.

* Writing RAMS.

* Maintain welfare standards.

Civil manager requirements:

* Right to work in the UK.

* CSCS - Gold/ Black.

* SMSTS.

* First aid.

* NRSWA.

* Previous experience working on NEC contracts.

* Full UK driving licence.
