The Role for the Building Surveyor:
As a Building Surveyor, you'll play a crucial role in preserving and enhancing some of the UK's most iconic historic buildings. You'll work with architects, designers, and heritage consultants, delivering top-tier surveying services on complex restoration and refurbishment projects.
Key Responsibilities for the Building Surveyor:
Conducting detailed building surveys to assess defects and propose remedial works.
Preparing comprehensive illustrated reports and specifications for repairs.
Administering construction contracts and providing timely advice on material performance.
Attending client meetings, offering expert assessments, and ensuring project timelines are met.Desirable Skills:
RICS accreditation.
Experience with public-sector projects or national organisations.
Proficiency with specialist surveying software and non-destructive investigation techniques.
Commercial awareness and aptitude for business development.Benefits Include:
