Laptop Technician - Leicester - £(phone number removed)

ECS are currently recruiting for a Laptop Technician to join and expanding IT services team. The role will require diagnosis of a variety of Laptops and workstations.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues (motherboards, screens, keyboards, and power supply components).
Perform component-level repairs, including soldering and replacing parts.
Test and validate the functionality of repaired laptops to ensure they meet quality standards.
Update and maintain hardware firmware as needed.Skills/Experience:

Proficient in diagnosing and repairing hardware components of laptops from various manufacturers (e.g., Dell, HP, Lenovo).
Familiarity with operating systems, including Windows & Linux to perform diagnostics.
Skilled in using diagnostic tools and soldering equipment.
2+ years of experience in laptop repair or hardware break-fix engineering.Further details available upon application.
