Why This Role? Our client, a leading wholesale distributor for the motor trade in the North of Scotland, is searching for a dynamic leader. You’ll be at the helm of warehouse and distribution operations for their Aberdeen and Dundee depots, playing a pivotal role in ensuring customer satisfaction, driving operational excellence, and managing an engaged and productive team.

What You'll Do:

* Lead from the Front: You’ll take ownership of the warehouse and distribution operations, guiding a skilled team to achieve peak performance while ensuring your customers receive the best possible service.

* Operational Excellence: With your hands-on approach, you’ll optimise operational costs, manage resources effectively, and ensure KPIs are met and exceeded.

* Customer-Centric Focus: You’ll place the customer at the heart of everything, ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of all service commitments.

About You:

* You have a proven track record in warehouse, distribution, or retail management, with a strong focus on delivering results.

* You excel at leading teams, mentoring others, and developing talent, ensuring your team is motivated to hit targets and exceed expectations.

* You’re commercially savvy, with a focus on maximising profits and minimising loss, while always putting the customer first.

* You’re organised, proactive, and confident in managing a fast-paced environment where operational excellence is key.

What We’re Looking For:

* Experience in a service-focused business or a retail environment with a strong customer service ethos.

* Success in managing KPIs, delivering sales and service targets, and driving operational efficiency.

* A track record of recruiting, developing, and leading teams in a dynamic environment.

* Familiarity with Microsoft Office packages and experience in managing compliance across Health & Safety, GDPR, and Quality Control.

* The ability to travel between Aberdeen and Dundee depots as part of your remit.
