Role Overview:
As a Business Development Manager at Smart Managed Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business opportunities and contributing to our growth strategy. You’ll be responsible for identifying and cultivating client relationships, leading the sales process from prospecting to close, and collaborating with key stakeholders to meet and exceed growth objectives. Working closely with the Sales Director, you’ll contribute to revenue targets and ensure Smart’s offerings align with market needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand Smart Managed Solutions' client base and drive revenue growth
* Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to meet individual and team sales objectives
* Build and maintain robust relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders
* Manage the sales process end-to-end, from lead generation and initial engagement to proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing
* Collaborate with the marketing team to align campaigns with business development objectives and promote Smart’s value proposition
* Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions and identify emerging opportunities
* Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients, clearly articulating the benefits and services offered by Smart Managed Solutions
* Participate in bid and estimating functions to ensure competitive proposals
* Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM systems
* Report on sales performance and provide updates on pipeline progress to the Sales Director and senior management
* Collaborate with operational teams to ensure client expectations are met and maintained post-sale, ensuring a seamless transition and high-quality service delivery.
