Marks Consulting Partners are looking for a Project Manager who can manage the delivery of required professional development services including site searching, feasibility studies, financial appraisals, obtaining planning, budgeting, contract management, handover and final account.
Duties will include;
* Undertaking inspections, collating background information, and managing consultant services for undertaking development feasibility studies.
* Manage tender processes as required for the appointment of consultants for specific services, including OJEU compliant competitive tendering exercises.
* Undertaking financial feasibility studies and robust development viability appraisals.
* Managing consultants for preparing and progressing planning pre-applications and planning applications.
* Negotiating Section 106 agreements to include legal, financial, and practical issues.
* Managing projects on site, liaising with contractors, consultants, and in-house staff.
* Writing high quality reports for JV, project boards, corporate steering groups, etc. Briefing Directors and heads of service on strategic developments.
* Provide professional leadership to all operational staff at all levels throughout the development management sector.
* Ensure business plans and appropriate targets that are agreed with the AD Direct Delivery are implemented and delivered and coordinated with other service provisions across the Capital and Asset Management Directorate.
