Junior Electrical Estimator required!!

FirstFix recruitment are looking to recruit a Junior Electrical Estimator for our very well established client, who are an electrical contractor with over 20 years experience in the industry, work in mainly the commercial & Industrial sectors and are based in Leighton Buzzard.
This position would suit either someone who has electrical estimating experience, or someone who has worked in the electrical sector previously.
Job role requirements;
* Some experience in electrical estimating including drawing take offs, material procurement and drawing preparation would be very advantageous.
* An understanding of specifications and standard contract documents
* Liaison with Site Supervisors
* Site surveys and occasional meetings would be part of the job, so you will need your own reliable transport (expenses covered). The areas covered for their work would be London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and north of the M25.
* Strong numerical skills, written and verbal communication skills.
* Good working knowledge of Excel and standard Microsoft office IT skills.
* High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
