Hexagon Recruitment is seeking Recycling Services Van Driver based in Abergele. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team. The role involves driving a designated vehicle to collect nappies and absorbent hygiene products waste from households across the county.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive and maintain the company vehicle, ensuring it is roadworthy and clean.
* Follow routes to collect waste and empty recycling containers and reporting any issues.
* Interact confidently with the public, providing information about recycling services and resolving any issues.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Complete necessary paperwork, including timesheets and vehicle logs.
Requirements:
* Driving License: A full EU driving license is essential.
* Physical Fitness: Ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and walking long distances.
* Communication Skills: Proficient in English; Welsh language skills are desirable.
* Knowledge of Safety Procedures: Understanding of health and safety issues related to waste collection.
