About the Role
We are seeking a self-driven and enthusiastic Noise, Nuisance and Licensing Officer to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the ASB, CCTV & Enforcement Manager, you will handle various nuisance complaints, including those related to noise, light, smoke, and odour from both commercial and residential properties.
Additionally, you will perform licensing enforcement duties, such as investigating complaints, inspecting licensed premises, and taking formal enforcement action.
Our team operates a daytime a night an out-of-hours service to investigate a range of complaints, you will be required to work both day and night shifts on a rotational basis.

About You
To excel in this position, you will have a solid understanding of noise, nuisance, and licensing regulations. You will have experience of managing a varied caseload and previous experience in a similar role is essential.
You will demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills and how you can apply a range of tools and powers to resolve nuisance complaints. You will need to take appropriate enforcement actions, including issuing notices and preparing legal documentation. Excellent communication and presentation skills are also crucial for effectively engaging with residents, elected members, and partners.
