My client has a well respected and established small independent practice who has gone from strength to strength and now require a qualified dispensing optician to further enhance their business their practice in the Hertfordshire area.
They are looking for a Dispensing Optician who is client focused and really cares about customer service.
You will be working for the independent optician of choice in the area and as such you will need to be at the top of your profession to be a part of a small fun team.
You will be the go to person for dealing with the more in depth and complex queries and the clinical side of dispensing.
Responsibilities of the Qualified Dispensing Optician
The role will entail dispensing spectacles to the highest levels, be a strong communicator both with clientele and colleagues alike and have a better than average knowledge of all things optical.
This store wants to hear from individuals who stand out from the crowd due to their individuality and have an outgoing personality with an eye for the fashion cycles as the client is always looking for the next exciting thing to happen in optics.
Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician
Our client is looking for someone with a customer friendly approach and an understanding of ‘what the customer wants’. The ability to dispense to all levels is essential with a friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic.
Because it is a small practice it is essential you are a team player.
Compensation for the Qualified Dispensing Optician
For your efforts a competitive salary of £25,000 - £32,000 basic and your GOC fees are paid together with the chance to earn commission and so many other perks.
No late nights, finish work at 5.30pm during the week, 4pm on Saturdays and no Sunday working!!
