Field Service Engineer

Perm Days, Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5pm (4pm finish on Friday)

Up to £40k depending on experience + bonus

Our client in the Leeds area is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their team of Engineers.

As the Field Service Engineer you will work for one of the UK’s leading suppliers of industrial sewing and embroidery machines. Your main role will be to cover all aspects of machine repair, machine assembly and machinery installation, with travel covering the whole of the UK and Ireland. You will also be required to attend training courses in Europe.

You will be responsible for:
- Machine assembly, installation, service and repair of sewing machinery
- Diagnosis of faults
- Answering technical queries from customers via phone & email
- Assisting colleagues with technical support
- Site visits for installation, service and repair
- Completing the work to a high standard
- Providing a high level of customer service

Ideal candidates will possess the following:

- previous experience within a field service engineering role

- mechanical knowledge

- ability to carry out machine repair, installation and service on machinery

- great communication skills, ability to be customer facing

- Full, clean UK driving license

The Field Service Engineer will work Monday to Fridays, 8.30am-5pm with a 4pm finish on Friday. Occasional overnight stays may be required.

This role is paying up to £40k dependant on experience + company van, phone, laptop, 33 days holiday, pension + quarterly bonus.
