Are you interested in assisting the Chef in providing a comprehensive catering service? We are looking for an individual with a passion for catering to provide a high-quality service for our customers.
 
Responsibilities

All employees are expected to comply with statutory requirements and SHC’s policies and procedures.
To treat all colleagues, service users, and visitors with dignity and respect, and adhere to SHC’s policies on equal opportunities and diversity.
To be responsible for your own health and safety and that of your colleagues.
Be compliant with the Health and Safety Act and any relevant EC directives.
To always be an ambassador for SHC.
Work in partnership with the Data Protection Act.
Carry out any other duties.Other responsibilities include…

Assist in preparation, presentation and serving of meals within the Home.
Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen area and utensils.
Follow guidance and instruction set by the Chef and Home Manager.
Adhere to the Hazard Analysis System.
Maintain a high standard for all residents.
Ensure daily completion of Hazard Analysis.
Rotating supplies to reduce waste and making sure goods are stored correctly.
Ensure security of the kitchen in the absence of the Chef Manager.
Report any faults to Chef Manager as soon as possible.
Attend all training meetings. 
Requirements

Ability to work as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work and demonstrate understanding of safe practices.
Ability to understand and adhere to the Equal Opportunities Policy.
