Operational Resilience Manager
Location: Hybrid to Manchester
We are seeking an experienced strategic operational resilience manager to lead the delivery of our Operational Resilience activity across Markerstudy. You will work directly with the business and play a pivotal role in enhancing our Operational Resilience by addressing complex challenges, influencing senior leadership on resilience strategies, and providing expert technical advice.
Reporting to the Head of Quality & Risk this position requires a professional who can drive significant initiatives and ensure compliance with advanced regulatory frameworks.
Responsibilities:
· Drive progress on operational resilience goals in line with broader business objectives.
· Collaborate with COO and Second Line Risk to define the strategy.
· Lead the annual review of key business services, impact tolerances, and process mapping, making necessary updates.
· Develop and implement a comprehensive annual testing plan covering all pillars, including scenario analysis.
· Ensure that all test plans are comprehensive, regularly updated and effectively measured, identifying areas for improvement.
· Create clear, accurate reports for senior management, internal committees, and other business units.
· Stay informed on regulatory developments to ensure compliance.
· Lead, mentor and develop colleagues across MISL to improve awareness and maturity of Operational Resilience. Identify training needs and facilitate professional development opportunities.
Must Have:
· Experience with Operational Resilience BAU in a Financial Services setting.
· The ability to analyse complex scenarios and support the team to craft innovative solutions, align team efforts and organisational goals.
· Demonstrable strong Stakeholder Management skills with a proven history of influencing.
· Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
· Able to work effectively across multiple activities simultaneously
