Job Title: Childcare Assessor / Trainer

Location: South and West Yorkshire - Must be flexible with travel

Salary: up to £30,000 (Depending on skills and experience) + Excellent Benefits Package

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Essential Criteria:

Hold a recognised Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA).
Hold a recognised Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS/AET etc.) 
Must have experience of delivering full Apprenticeships in Residential Childcare and/or Early Years Childcare.
Hold a minimum of 2 years’ occupational competency within Residential Childcare and/or Early Years.
Must hold a Level 3 in Childcare (Residential / Early Years). 
Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
Must be flexible with travel.Duties include:

Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Apprenticeships in Early Years Childcare and/or Residential Childcare (depending on competency). 
Plan and deliver engaging sessions both online and face to face with learners.
Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
Support, advise and motivate learners.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
