Responsibilities in your new role as Cluster Director of Sales
As the Cluster Director of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in marketing our hotels and the wider regional group to local clients, primarily targeting corporate customers, meetings, groups, and relevant agents. Your focus will be on seeking new revenue opportunities while nurturing existing accounts to boost market share. A strategic and organised approach is essential for effective account management, customer engagement, and brand activity. You will track your success against key sales metrics and KPIs, including monthly revenue and opportunity reporting using the Salesforce CRM. Collaborating closely with hotel General Managers and cluster commercial teams, you will help create exciting events and seasonal promotions, all while supporting in driving F&B sales. You will be commuting between our four hotels and attend client meetings, so your own transport is necessary.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
We are looking for someone with an in-depth understanding of the hospitality, travel, or events sector in Aberdeen, coupled with excellent commercial acumen to drive new business and grow market share. As a self-starter, you will possess the ability to independently deliver results. Your strong grasp of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices, combined with outstanding communication skills, will help in engaging effectively with clients and team members. While preferred, formal qualifications are not essential; we value passion and drive above all.
