3-month contract for a world-renowned Pharma organisation!

This is your chance to work in the finance function of a huge pharma organisation driving change in medicine and health across the globe.

Based in central London, this organisation has over 100 years of history within the pharma world. They are driven to improve patients lives and have discovered and introduced several groundbreaking antibiotics and medicines.

This Accounts Assistant position falls within their European branch. Therefore, you will be responsible for maintaining Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable ledgers across Germany, Spain, France, Italy, and the Netherlands. Proficiency with any of these languages is extremely desirable!

For this role, day to day duties include:

Maintain and reconcile all AP and AR ledgers and bank accounts, addressing any unreconciled items promptly.
Enter purchase invoices, credit card transactions, and expenses into the ERP system after scanning and reviewing, ensuring proper coding and budget holder approvals.
Execute automated weekly payment runs and handle manual payments, regularly updating and closing redundant purchase orders.
Assist with month-end closing by providing information on pending invoices and timesheets, and ensure expense claims comply with company policies and VAT rules.
Manage vendor master data for new and existing suppliers, and reconcile company credit cards to ensure adherence to company policies and tax regulations.

Previous finance experience is vital. Ideally 3+ years of AP experience. With the ability to be business proficient in European languages desirable.

This organisation is willing to offer an extremely competitive day/hourly rate.
