Our client, a renowned entity in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to join their team on a contract basis. This role is pivotal in the manufacturing of defence components, ensuring precision and quality in every task.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting and operating Bystronic Brake Presses of 3Metre and 4 Metre variety.
Creating programs to align with 3rd angle drawings.
Folding a variety of sheet metal parts within allocated time frames.
Performing minimal maintenance on machine equipment and machines themselves, such as lubricating and cleaning the tools.
Setting and calibrating tools on machines like brake press, Power Press, and Roll Former independently or with assistance due to their weight.

Job Requirements:

Experience in operating sheetmetal machinery, specifically Brake Presses.
Understanding of interpreting and drawing programs for 3rd angle drawings.
Proficiency in folding various sheet metal parts quickly and accurately.
Ability to carry out routine maintenance on machinery and equipment.
Competence in setting and calibrating tools on various machines.
