About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team this December, working with our client who is a leading manufacturer and retailer of frozen meals based in Sittingbourne. This role offers a mix of driving and hands-on delivery work, ideal for those who enjoy a combination of road time and active, physical tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

* Driving & Delivery: 50% driving (Class 2 HGV and some 3.5t van work) and 50% unloading and delivery.

* Product Handling: Manually unload pallets using pump trucks (Apply online only) kg per pallet) and decant up to 1,000 cases daily.

* Client Interaction: Deliver products directly to retail locations, interacting with clients and unloading into shops.

* Work Hours: Monday through Sunday shifts, starting between 5:00-6:00 a.m. and finishing based on workload, with rest periods scheduled in accordance with driving and working time regulations.

Requirements:

* License: Valid HGV Class 2 license (minimum required).

* Physical Capability: Must be able to handle a physically demanding role, with significant manual handling and unloading.

* Availability: Flexible to work across weekdays and weekends.

* Team Fit: We will conduct an informal meeting to gauge suitability, so we're looking for reliable, personable candidates who are a good fit for the team culture.
