As Field Service Engineer you’ll be based from home and be expected to travel throughout the UK to diagnose, repair, service and maintain various CNC machines and controls including drive optimisation and machine geometry and alignment as well prepare technical CNC machine assessments and generate service and any escalation reports.

You will be a multi-skilled Field Service Engineer, qualified within Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of working on the breakdown repair, service and maintenance of CNC machine tools and controls such as Mazak, Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenheim and the ability to setup and diagnose inputs and outputs desirable.

Consideration also be given to individuals with experience of working on any form of process / automated machinery or equipment and the ability to diagnose and fault find on PLC’s or align shafts and bearings.
