Become an Ancillary Operator in Our Client's Forge Team!

Our client are seeking dedicated Ancillary Operators to join their Forge function, reporting directly to the Team Leader and Process Leader. This vital role involves ensuring that all customer needs and internal quality processes are consistently met.

Work Schedule:

Hours Available: Days, Nights, Mornings & Afternoons Rotating
Salary: Circa £14 - £16 per hour, based on experience, plus shift allowance where applicable

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the production of aerospace components and pressing operations
Support the loading and unloading of furnaces
Provide operational support for manufacturing processes at the press
Undertake ad-hoc duties as required
Adhere to Forge processes and procedures
Meet and maintain company performance standards

Candidate Requirements:

Proficient in reading precision measuring equipment with a solid understanding of written and diagrammatic instructions
Strong interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and achieve business objectives
Willingness to participate in team activities as needed

Experience in a quality-oriented business environment
Flexibility to work various shift patterns as required
Effective verbal and written communication skills

Health and safety conscious, with strong awareness of risks
Knowledge of metal forming at elevated temperatures is advantageous

Location:

This position is based near Redditch, and is easily commutable from Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Alcester, Studley, South Birmingham, Solihull, Worcester, Kidderminster, and Stourbridge.
