Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to step into a senior role with a reputable contractor in the construction industry? We’re working with a well-established groundworks and civil engineering company who are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Leicester.

The Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on large-scale residential groundworks projects. The successful candidate will be office-based in Leicester with regular site visits, taking a lead role in managing and overseeing cost control, budgeting, and project management aspects to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all quantity surveying functions on assigned projects.

• Conduct cost and risk analysis to ensure project profitability.

• Collaborate with project managers and other team members on groundworks and residential development.

• Prepare, submit, and agree on interim valuations and final accounts.

• Ensure adherence to project timelines and budget requirements.

• Regular visits to project sites to monitor progress and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in residential groundworks.

• Strong knowledge of quantity surveying practices and principles.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, or equivalent professional qualification.

• UK Drivers' license
