Our client is an award-winning supplier of automotive parts for luxury and supercars, serving customers in over 100 countries. Their reputation for speed, efficiency, and outstanding service has made them the go-to name in the industry. Now, they are looking for a Buyer / Procurement Manager to help drive their next phase of growth.

This is more than just a buyer/procurement role – you’ll be at the centre of the company’s expansion, working closely with suppliers to secure the best deals and partnering with the sales team to help win new business by sourcing niche, in-demand parts.

The Role

* Driving business growth – supporting the sales team by sourcing niche, high-value parts that can help win new customers.

* Negotiating and securing supplier deals to ensure the best pricing and availability.

* Dynamic and ad hoc buying – quickly sourcing goods to fulfil urgent or large orders.

* Managing supplier relationships – developing long-term partnerships to maintain a competitive edge.

* Cost control and efficiency – analysing procurement expenditures and driving cost savings.

* Inventory management – working with supply chain teams to ensure optimal stock levels.

* Monitoring market trends – staying ahead of pricing fluctuations, supplier developments, and currency shifts.

* Tracking performance and setting KPIs to improve procurement strategy.

You

* 5+ years’ experience in procurement or buying, ideally in product distribution.

* Strong negotiation skills – able to drive cost-effective deals without compromising on quality.

* A commercial mindset – understanding how procurement decisions impact sales and growth.

* High level of computer proficiency – comfortable with procurement and reporting tools.

* Excellent organisation and communication skills – able to balance multiple priorities.
