JP Corry are currently recruiting for a Trade Centre Advisor in Belfast!

Due to the exciting re development of our Springfield Road branch, we are looking to expand our team with the addition of an enthusiastic and dedicated Trade Centre Advisor. In this customer facing role, you will be responsible for contributing to and exceeding customer expectations, whilst supporting the achievement of sales and profit targets through upselling and cross-selling a wide range of products. The post holder will pride themselves on delivering first class customer service and be someone who can really make difference to a customers experience in branch with us.

Salary circa £26,000 (dependent on experience)

Branch opening hours are Mon - Thurs 07.30 - 17.00 Fri 07.30 - 16.00 Sat 08.00 - 12.00 and we are flexible to consider a variety of working hours/patterns to suit your needs

Role responsibilities will include:

Provide an exceptional level of customer service to all customers. Building relationships over the phone, face to face and online, giving prompt and accurate responses to online/ecommerce custom and queries.

Identify and generate sales opportunities for the full range of JP Corry products.

Provide realistic quotations to meet both customer and business needs.

Ensuring a high standard of 'good housekeeping' throughout the store

Development of new and promotional product lines

Carrying out all cash transactions, refunds and till processes accurately and in accordance with branch procedures

Ensure sufficient levels of stock on the shop floor, ordering more as required

Any other reasonable duties deemed necessary.

Suitable candidates will ideally have/ be:

Passionate about delivering a first class customer service experience and know what great service looks, sounds and feels like.

Proven experience with Power tools, Workwear, Plumbing/Heating or Electrical sales would be advantageous.

Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills in order to be a real team player.

Proficient in the use of IT and have good computer literacy and telephone skills.

Web sales, 'E' commerce and social media experience

Ideally knowledge / experience of the construction / building materials industry.
