The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA or ACCA-qualified accountant with a background in practice to step into a career-defining role. Based in the Surrey office, you'll work closely with the senior management team, overseeing a diverse client portfolio and making a significant impact on their success.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and oversee management accounts for UK and multinational companies.
* Provide expert guidance on VAT and PAYE matters, including reviewing VAT returns.
* Support start-ups with strategic financial advice and assistance.
* Lead the implementation of advanced accounting and computerised financial systems.
* Manage UK financial reporting for limited companies, LLPs, partnerships, and sole traders.
* Mentor and develop team members through training, reviews, and ongoing support.
* Strengthen client relationships by offering expert advice on various business topics.
About You
* ACA or ACCA qualified, with 3-4+ years of experience working in practice.
* Strong knowledge of management and statutory accounting, with the ability to oversee complex accounts.
* Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
* Legall entitled to work in the UK without Visa support
