BSL Interpreter

Pay Rate to Candidate: £45 p/h Umbrella / £33.15 p/h PAYE

Part-Time Ad-Hoc work

A British Sign Language Interpreter is required to join a public organization on a 1-year contract in Beverley, East Yorkshire. As a BSL Interpreter, you will be responsible for translating BSL to English and English to BSL communication with colleagues via written English translation, through interpreting phone calls, being present at meetings, at the post room and on postal deliveries. Responsibilities include assisting with receiving mail, assisting with delivering mail around working areas, as well as assisting with further development opportunities for the post room staff.

The successful candidate MUST have BSL Interpreter qualifications, accreditations and insurances such as being registered with NRCPD and be qualified at Level 6 in BSL. You must also be willing to work on an ad-hoc part-time basis, as there will be a requirement for 10 interpreters who could cover 30-hours / week, and have proof of Professional Indemnity Insurance and a DBS within the last 3-years.
