Job Title: Assistant Accountant

Location: Lichfield

Remuneration: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum

Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time

Working Pattern: Hybrid working available

Are you a driven and detail-oriented individual with a passion for numbers? Our client, a leading organisation, is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their team in Lichfield. As the Assistant Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of our client's organisation.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports
Raising sales invoiced and credit memos
Process and monitor invoices, expenses, and credit control
Conduct reconciliations of accounts and resolve any discrepancies
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
Support the month-end and year-end close processes
Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial information
Maintain financial records and documentation in line with company policies
Provide assistance with ad hoc financial projects as requiredQualifications and Skills:

AAT qualified or actively studying towards a professional accounting qualification
Previous experience in a similar finance role is desirable
Strong numerical and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Proficient in MS Excel and other accounting software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
