We are currently looking for an Customer Support Operative to join our friendly team based at our Doncaster asphalt plant. Here at Aggregate Industries, we are working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it’s important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds.
As a Customer Support reporting directly to the Plant Manager, working with other members of the team to ensure that customers get good quality material and on-time deliveries. Learning how to operate mobile plants like wheeled loading shovels and forklift trucks, Operating the weighbridge, offering advice and support ensuring customer satisfaction.
The Customer Support Operative will work with an internal team to learn how to plan the mixing program, ensuring that stocks are maintained and replenished in good time. You will also carry out daily inspections on the plant and carry out generic housekeeping tasks and basic daily maintenance using a range of tools and equipment from spanners to welders. The role will require you to work on weekends for few hours.

The ideal candidate will possess good communication skills.
We are looking for a highly motivated General Operative with drive and enthusiasm.
The desire for training and willingness to learn and develop both operational and supervisory skills.
You will have a sound appreciation of Health & Safety, housekeeping and environmental regulations.
Basic mathematics and IT skills are essential.
Previous experience working with similar industries is desirable.
Some form of maintenance and or fabrication skills are desirable.
Ability to work to deadline.
