TEP’s Early Years & Childcare Service provide support to all early years and childcare providers through training, resources and visits.

The Role

The Education People is looking for a dedicated and organised Partnership and Integration Support Officer to deliver comprehensive support to the Early Years & Childcare Partnership & Integration Team Lead and all related functions.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently, effectively prioritize and manage a busy workload and possess excellent data management and analysis skills. They should also have a strong understand of social media and effective communication to wider audiences.

This is a hybrid working role with on-site meetings in Aylesford, Ashford and Whitstable. Working days for this role are every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday totalling 14.8 hours per week.

Key Duties:

Provide business and administrative support to the Early Years and Childcare Partnership & Integration Team, including managing data, updating information, and handling email and telephone inquiries.

Plan and coordinate meetings and events, prepare materials, dispatch documents, and support virtual events, including after hours.

Manage data systems and frontline support for local early years collaborations.

Handle training inquiries, bookings, invoicing, and purchasing efficiently.

Organize and promote training events for potential and registered childminders, prepare materials and support virtual training, including occasional after hours events.

Communicate with potential and registered childminders via email, telephone, and social media, ensuring efficient and consistent service.

Compile and format communications and documents with high accuracy, adhering to company guidelines. Maintain websites, databases, and filing systems, ensuring compliance with the Council’s record retention policy, data protection and freedom of information protocols and recommend improvements.

Lead proofreading processes and train colleagues as needed.

Administer financial systems related to business activities, following internal procedures.
What we need from you

Familiarity with national and local government policies related to the Early Years & Childcare sector.

Proven track record in providing high-level administrative support

Expertise in maintaining and developing both computerized and manual information systems to enhance management data

Demonstrable interpersonal and organisational skills when dealing with all levels of staff and external contacts

IT literate, with a strong understanding of Microsoft Office suite and social media

Excellent written and verbal communication and proofreading skills

Excellent time management
