Kingscroft has been asked to recruit for an Expeditor / Buyer for a specialist high volume manufacturer. As the ideal candidate you will have worked in a fast paced manufacturing operation and be skilled at delivering efficient material supply through scheduling, supplier liaison, stock control and process improvements.

The role would suit a skilled Production Administrator, Expeditor, or Production Buyer capable of working within pre-negotiated contracts. You must be a great communicator, numerically strong, proactive and really well organised.

As a Production Buyer you will:

Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials between departments, ensuring the timely completion of production orders.

Monitor production schedules and ensure optimal material and stock levels.

Collaborate with production planning, management, and other stakeholders to plan and schedule production activities.

Track and manage inventory levels, ensuring that materials and supplies are available when needed.

Buying and ordering of stock and material

Manage supplier data to help evaluate strategic purchasing decisions
